At Saturday’s “Taste the Valleys” festival, the flavours of the Alpine Valleys will come together in Howitt Park, Bright. Savour the region’s innovative wine styles and an array of mouthwatering dishes on the leafy banks of the Ovens River. Taste Alpine as you wander through the Farmers Market. Dangle your feet in the cool, mountain waters and relax to cruisy live music all day and into the night. Enjoy the Alpine Style Masterclass Program see what happens when our talented regional chefs team up with some of the finest alpine producers. Throw in a handful of passionate Alpine Valleys winemakers and you have a recipe for pure flavour.
On Sunday, the Alpine Valleys wineries, restaurants and farmgates throw open their doors to welcome visitors to a range of special events. Explore the Valleys in person and discover live music performances, special cellar door releases, al fresco lunches, wine and food matching, tours, a beer-fest and much more. Take advantage of the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail and cycle between venues, or enjoy the scenic drive along Victoria’s Great Alpine Road.
